Storm warning January 16

The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a winter storm warning effective today, Wednesday, Jan. 16 until 8 p.m. and has predicted 3-6 inches of plowable snow will fall. According to the NWS press release, some “light freezing drizzle” may follow the snow.
The snow has caused slippery driving conditions and poor visibility. According to Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency staff, many slide-offs and minor accidents have been reported.
NWS urged drivers to prepare for snow-covered roads and to use caution when driving.
