Summer camp scholarship deadline extended

The Y believes that all children in our community, regardless of income, deserve the opportunity to experience summer camp. Camp registration is open, and scholarship dollars are still available—and we’ve extended the deadline to Wednesday, June 13. All families are encouraged to apply for a scholarship, for any of the Y’s camps. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, but don’t delay as summer is fast approaching!
Camp Knickerbocker on beautiful Knickerbocker Lake in Boothbay provides children ages 3 to 14 with safe and exciting opportunities to explore, learn, create and discover the world around them, all under the guidance of caring, enthusiastic, and trained leaders and role models.
Thanks to the “Send a Kid to Camp” fund drive at the Boothbay Region YMCA and the annual “Stackhouse Event” at the CLC YMCA, both Y’s are able to offer camp scholarships. Payment plans and financial aid are also available in addition to camp scholarships.
