Sylvan Gallery grand opening
The Sylvan Gallery will hold a grand opening celebration on Saturday, July 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. The gallery has relocated to 60 Main Street, on the corner of Main and Water streets, directly across from Sarah’s Cafe and Red’s Eats. The public is invited to attend.
A selection of over 70 oils, pastels, watercolors and sculpture by 16 American contemporary fine artists will be on view. The exhibition will continue through August 26 and additional paintings will be added from an extensive inventory.
The exhibit demonstrates a broad range of style and vision in the traditional genres of landscape, marines, still life and figurative. Painting subjects also include working harbor life, marsh, and beach scenes. Exhibition dates are July 7 - August 26 and gallery hours are Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Jen Harmon Allen, Peter Layne Arguimbau, Joann Ballinger, Al Barker, Angelo Franco, Charles Kolnik, Heather Gibson-Lusk, Paul Lipp, Victor Mays, Stan Moeller, Robert Noreika, Nicholas Oberling, Crista Pisano, Karen Winslow, Laura Winslow and Shirley Cean Youngs are the artists represented.
