VA town hall meeting Nov. 15
Are you a veteran and want to know about the VA and if you are eligible? Are you in the VA healthcare system and have questions about your care? Did you know that there are 2 VAs at Togus, one is for healthcare (VHA) and the other is for benefits (VBA)? Have you experienced long waits to see a VA doctor? Do you want to us a non-VA doctor but want to have the VA pay for it? Are you taking care of a home bound veteran and want to know if there is any support for you? Have you submitted a claim and don’t know what is happening? Or, do you just want to learn what the VA is all about?
On Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m., the leadership of the VA at Togus will be holding a town hall meeting at the Mid-Coast Veterans Center on Brunswick Landing (the old bowling alley). The team will be led by Ryan Lilley, center director at Maine VA Healthcare System, and Phil Black, VBA (benefits) outreach. This will be an excellent opportunity to get all your answers directly from those in charge. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
