The Association of Wiscasset Firefighters is holding its 15th annual Vegas Race Raffle to raise funds to pay for training and equipment upgrades. Tickets will be available for purchase at Ames True Value and Supply in Wiscasset December 22, 24 and 29.
The grand prize is tickets for two to Race Week in Las Vegas. Airfare, hotel and tickets are all included. Four additional prizes for races at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway and at the Oxford Plains Speedway.
Firefighter Larry Rines said there are more than 20 door prizes. The drawing will be held at the Wiscasset Fire Department at noon, January 1.
