Virginia M. Curran

Virginia M. “Ginny” (McGinnis) Curran, 84, of Framingham, Mass., and a longtime summer resident of Boothbay, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of Raymond J. Curran. They had been married for 65 years.

Born and raised in Medford, Mass., daughter of the late Roger and Ann (Sheehan) McGinnis, she had been a resident of Framingham for the past 50 years.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Brian Curran and his wife Lynn of Harwich, Mass., David Curran and his wife Suzanne of Yardley, Pa., and John Curran and his wife Sandra of Concord, Mass.; one daughter, Janice Davis and her husband Thomas of Hopedale, Mass.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Donald McGinnis, Paul McGinnis and Ann Monagle.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, Feb. 11 at 9 a.m. in St. Bridget’s Church, 830 Worcester Road, (Route 9 East), Framingham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.

Private burial will take place at a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, Mass. There will be no funeral home calling hours.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Eugene J. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St., Framingham.
