Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 15th annual Meeting and Awards Dinner on Tuesday, May 5 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., in Chapin Hall, Center for Environmental Education, at Chewonki Foundation in Wiscasset. Chamber members and friends are invited to join the celebration.

"Chewonki’s Chapin Hall is a fantastic setting for this gathering," said Duane Goud, chair of the Chamber. "We are grateful for their hospitality and eager to welcome our members to this beautiful campus."

Beneath the Northern Fin Whale skeleton hung in Chapin Hall, guests will have a chance to network with business leaders from across the region. A brief annual meeting will follow the social hour and will include a vote on revised bylaws, as well as voting in officers and board members. A high point of the evening will be the announcement of this year’s award winners, a chance to celebrate the exceptional businesses, organizations and individuals who contribute to the vitality of the Wiscasset area.

The menu for the evening will be A Taste of Wiscasset. A variety of local food establishments and purveyors will provide the appetizers, main meal and dessert. There will be a cash bar.
