A Doggone Pool Party is set for Saturday, Aug. 24, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Wiscasset Community Center, 242 Gardiner Road. Admission is free, but we will accept donations, of which a portion will go to the Coastal Maine Humane Society.

Let's end the summer with some fun for you and your furry family. Bring your pup to the community center where they can swim in our pool before we head into our annual cleaning week! We will also have a barbecue for humans and frozen pup pops for all wagging tails! 

Guidelines: One human per pup, please; if your dog has been ill in the past 48 hours, please do not bring them to the pool; know your dog — if your dog does not do well with other dogs, please don't bring them. We want this to be fun for all; please bring your well-behaved pup on a leash — leashes will come off for pool time and must be back on for all other times; pool time is just for dogs. Hey, humans get it all the other days of the year! And all dogs need to be signed in by their pup parent/guardian.
