Career Week was held recently at Wiscasset Elementary School. Students and staff explored the world of work in many different ways. For example, each class was to have a guest speaker who would share about their work and career. Kids were hearing from a Navy pilot, a sloth zookeeper, a former FBI agent, and the pitching coach for the Portland Sea Dogs, among others.  

Students were also guessing which of their teachers had one of the first jobs listed in the display, “Whose career started here?” There was lots of fun and learning!
