Westport Island nomination papers available

Nomination papers for candidates for town offices to be voted on June 1 are available until April 29, at the Town Clerk’s Office. Office hours are: Tuesdays, noon to 7 p.m. and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Offices to be voted on are: First Selectman, Assessor and Overseer of the Poor for three years; two members of the Budget Committee for three years; and Road Commissioner for three years.
