Wiscasset has moved its Fourth of July fireworks show to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 5, due to incoming weather, Parks and Recreation Director Todd Souza said. The evening’s other activities including an open mike and a band performance are canceled for Friday night; Souza did not yet know if those would be able to be rescheduled for Saturday night.

The July 4 parade, themed “You’re a Grand Old Flag,” is still on for 10 a.m. Friday, followed by Friday’s scheduled veterans’ and Wiscasset Yacht Club’s events, Souza said Thursday afternoon.
