Multi-level tennis programs are offered, and don’t forget our popular Y-Arts programs, with a winter production of “Beauty and the Beast” showing the first weekend in May.
The Y High School and Middle School Teen Leaders Clubs continue to be popular choices, designed to introduce teens and youth to service learning, volunteerism, social interaction and appreciation for diversity through the focus areas of the Y—youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Saturday is the day for free tennis, where families are invited to play from 10 to 11 a.m., and the Stay and Play program is once again underway--where families come together free of charge to spend time together, enjoy a healthy snack, take part in a creative art project, youth can get help with homework, and of course, play tennis. Stay and Play is every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Many tennis events are also coming up, including the “120 Tennis Tournament” on Feb. 21 and the fifth annual Stepping Stones Tournament on March 7. For more information on tournament events, visit clcymca.org, call the Y or email Lisa Gilbride at lgilbride@clcymca.org.
