Come “doodle” for fun and relaxation on Saturday, April 4, when Maine Media Women will offer an informal activity meeting called “Zentangles Just for Fun.” If you’re already a “tangler,” come and share your designs and inspirations with the group. If you’ve never tried Zentangles before, come and learn this simple and soothing technique. It’s something you can do anywhere, anytime, with materials that fit in your pocket! You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy doing Zentangles, and the variations based on simple instructions are always surprising and creative.

Carol Jaeger, owner of Salt Bay Art Supply in Damariscotta, will be the presenter and will provide all the materials needed, as well as information on idea sources and how to get professional Zentangles instruction.

The meeting will be held at the Mobius Community Center on Main Street (Business Route 1) in Damariscotta. Sign-in and networking begin at 9 a.m., and the presentation and activity run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Refreshments will be available.
