The annual National Honor Society induction ceremony was conducted at Wiscasset High School on Wednesday, May 22. Eight students were inducted into the local National Honor Society chapter, having been selected on their merits and achievements in the areas of scholarship, character, service and leadership.  

The new inductees are: seniors Kathryn Connors and Ryan Hanley; juniors Briana Goud, Nathan Panarese, and Michaela Trudeau; and sophomores Maeve Carlson, Miranda McIntire and Hannah Welborn.  

The current members conducted the ceremony, with Alyssa Urquhart and Kyle Shute leading the way. Other speakers included Megan Corson, Brandon Delano, Cormac Walsh and Maddy Wehrle. Family and friends enjoyed refreshments after the ceremony.
