“Due to the current events we are being told we need to close our building today, October 26th,” Wiscasset Parks and Recreation announced about Wiscasset Community Center via email shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday. 

“Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Our hearts go out to all those families!”

The announcement concluded, “Be safe, stay alert!
