Edgecomb selectmen will be discussing a resolution to the Cunningham Road issue at tonight's May 5 meeting.

Selectman Jack Sarmanian said that the town has resolved to buy an easement at the corner of Cunningham and Mill roads. “It's a bad corner, so we're buying an easement so we can do construction there.”

Sarmanian said that any changes to roads have to be approved by the town, so it will be up for approval at the town meeting on May 17, but Sarmanian said he doesn't foresee a problem. “It's what the town needs,” he said.

Other topics at tonight's meeting will include the town's annual report and other business.
