Wiscasset School Department’s maintenance and transportation director John Merry stands beside a bus whose name has been changed to reflect the town’s return to having its own school department. As each bus gets inspected, it is also getting the name on its side changed from “Sheepscot Valley RSU #12” to “Wiscasset School Department,” Merry said.
