Edgecomb youth group is on the move
On May 7, Edgecomb Community Church’s members and its youth group, The Young Disciples, participated in Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine’s Spring Walk to Build. The walk was held in Brunswick and the Young Disciples had over $400 in donations to give for this event.
The Young Disciples that participated were Henry Boudin, Ryan Potter, Carolyn Potter, Grace Greene, Leah Potter and Natalie Potter. The youths were energetic the whole way. Because of that energy, they were the recipients of the 2015 Spring Walk Youth Group Challenge.
The Young Disciples were able to choose their prize. The choices were an ice cream party, a pizza party or individual gift cards for each member. On Sunday, the vote was unanimous; they all agreed on an ice cream party, which will be held at a later date.
