Sandi Schultz will host the next Clamshell Quilters meeting on July 13 at the Faith Baptist Church, 144 Mills Road, Newcastle, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Schultz will present her redwork embroidery and display some of her quilts. She'll do a demonstration, give us pattern ideas, and recommend fabrics, needles and threads to use. Pencil and paper would be handy if you wish to take some notes; otherwise you don't need to bring anything but show ’n‘ tell, if you wish.

The group will hold its regular informal sewing before the meeting at the church at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join in for conversation and laughs as members work on charity projects or projects of our own. Don't forget to bring your own food and beverage in case you get hungry.
