The First Congregational Church of Wiscasset, UCC, has been celebrating the long history of its congregation with varied activities this summer.

At 10 a.m., on Aug. 2, the Rev. Susan Craig will lead parishioners in commemorating the church’s history (1773 to the present) through word and music with participation across generations. Elements of early church services will be incorporated as we honor the past, present, and look to the future.

Everyone is welcome to attend this unique service, which will be followed by a group photo on the front steps of the meetinghouse and coffee hour in Fellowship Hall.
