Kathy Nancy Fish died at Maine Medical Center on July 21, 2015, from complications due to a tragic accident on Sunday, July 19.

Kathy was born on March 14, 1960, to Robert and Jean (Curtis) Fish in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Kathy graduated from Boothbay Region High School in 1977 with honors after only three years of school. She was accepted at the University of Miami and had plans to attend in the fall of 1977. An accident in July 1977 prevented her from continuing on the path she was determined to follow.

She was a fun-loving jokester and had a fabulous sense of humor. She was very outgoing and loved to meet new people.

Kathy was predeceased by her parents and her cousin, David Nicklen.

She is survived by her brother, John Fish and his wife, Diane; her nephew, Zachary Fish; and her niece, Taylor Fish, all of Boothbay Harbor; her cousins, Gregory Sullivan and Stephany Hannon of Alabama, and Jean Nicklen of Massachusetts; her uncle, Guy Curtis of Louisiana; and her very special friend, Eddie Miklas.

The family would like to thank Kathy’s caregivers for their compassion and professionalism throughout the years.

No services will be held at this time. A private family service will be held in the fall.
