The parish hall at St. Giles church Jefferson will be transformed into a café and bookstore Saturday, Aug. 15, with a tremendous variety of books for every reading taste, and coffee, tea and fruit drinks plus pastries and sweets available throughout the day.

Books in 30 or so subject categories will be on offer: fiction of course, plus art, biography and autobiography, religion, poetry, philosophy, history, psychology, mysteries, cooking, children’s literature, gardening, nature, and others — even including gossip.

The hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The parishioners of St. Giles invite all to come and enjoy this new café-bookstore experience.
