Wiscasset business celebrates anniversary with stove giveaway
On Oct. 9, Maine Coast Stove & Chimney of Wiscasset celebrated its fifth year anniversary. In recognition of the wonderful customers that have made this milestone possible, the company plans to give a new Pacific Energy Vista wood stove to a worthy recipient.
We’re asking people to nominate family, friends or neighbors who have selflessly given of themselves to help others. Nominees don’t necessarily have to need a wood stove. Should they be selected they might decide to keep it, they might decide to donate it to someone else, or they might decide to gift it to a charitable organization.
Countless acts of kindness and generosity happen on the Midcoast of Maine every day. We would like to thank all who consider the needs of others less fortunate and who demonstrate through their good deeds that people are essentially good and decent and our small world is a better place for them.
Tell us why your nominee is a worthy candidate. Please send all nominations to Maine Coast Stove & Chimney, P.O. Box 256, Wiscasset, ME 04578 or email to robert@mainecoaststove.com by Nov. 18. Don’t forget to include your contact information and two references and their contact information so we can verify the veracity of your nomination. We will choose a recipient the day before Thanksgiving.
The Pacific Energy Vista is a 56,000 BTU non-catalytic wood stove. It has a copper-colored porcelain surround and has a retail value of $2015.
“We would like to thank all the wonderful customers we’ve met over the last five years,” said Maine Coast Stove & Chimney owner Robert Conlin. “Running a small business can be very challenging, but the challenges pale in comparison to the relationships we’ve made with people who have walked through our doors. We are very lucky and count our blessings every day.”
Conlin would like to add that store manager Shawn Weaver, lead service technician Ross Field, field technicians Aaron Springer and Martin Edgecomb and sales administrator Duane Trudeau, have made the achievement of the five-year milestone possible and make coming to work a pleasure rather than a chore.
