Brainstorming and potluck at Morris Farm Nov. 10
A chamber of commerce is a local organization of businesses whose goal is to further the interests of businesses. Business owners in towns and cities form these local societies to advocate on behalf of the business community. This often involves fundraising for the chamber or for a local charity… and we all know that fundraising can be hard. A chamber of commerce, however, has a lot of built-in member businesses and resources to make for one heck of a fundraising event.
One of the biggest decisions is often deciding what type of fundraiser to do. This is where The Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce needs some input: from its membership and the community.
You are invited to join us on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 6 p.m., at the Morris Farm, 156 Gardiner Road, Wiscasset for a brainstorming session and potluck. We will throw around and discuss ideas and opportunities. Nothing is off limits! So bring a dish to share. We look forward to seeing you.
Please call 882-4080 or email info@wiscassetchamber.com to sign up.
