Woolwich man indicted in domestic violence case
A Woolwich man faces arraignment January 31, on domestic violence assault and other charges stemming from an alleged September 9, 2012, incident in Wiscasset.
A Lincoln County grand jury indicted Michael A. Dunning Jr., 22, on January 16. He faces a Class C domestic violence assault charge and one Class D charge each of unlawful sexual contact, unlawful sexual touching, and criminal restraint.
The charges all involve the same female victim.
Dunning was arrested last fall in connection with the incident and was later released from Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset on $250 cash bail.
He was convicted of domestic violence assault in 2010 in a Wiscasset District Court case, according to court documents.
Dunning's arraignment on the current charges will take place in Lincoln County Superior Court in Wiscasset.
