A 35-year-old Wiscasset man was arrested by Wiscasset Police Chief Troy Cline on domestic violence charges on January 29 at 4:35 p.m.

Michael Mingo was arrested after an investigation of an incident that occurred on or about January 14 on Fort Hill Street in Wiscasset. Mingo is alleged to have threatened his wife, Angela Mingo, 35, with a 9 mm handgun at that time. He is also alleged to have pulled her down some stairs.

The incident was witnessed by Angela Mingo’s two children and Michael Mingo’s brother who resides with them.

Mingo was charged with domestic violence criminal, threatening with a firearm and domestic violence assault.

He is currently being held at the Two Bridges Regional Jail pending his arraignment today, January 30 at the Wiscasset District Court.
