With the recent release of the draft rules for public comment, one previously unclear aspect of the rule has come to light and we are encouraging employers to comment.

We all want to wish a huge congratulations to Earl Brewer on his big win at “Fishin for Fashion” this past week at Bristol Marine. Earl’s King Neptune inspired design was completely outfitted from used fishing apparel except for the donated white fishing gloves. The bait bag cape adorned with starfish and other shells, the boots blinged out, and Earl’s infectious smile brought many to their feet.

Jeremy Pickford, AAI, an account manager on the business insurance team at Allen Insurance and Financial has earned the Certified Professional Insurance Agent designation from the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society.

The CPIA designation emphasizes critical skills in insurance underwriting, coverages marketing and client services.

It may be getting hot for a few days but you can always count on the deck at Brady’s to be the “Coolest” place in the Harbor. Boothbay Harbor, June 14, 2024 – The annual Claw Down event once again showcased the finest culinary talents in our community, celebrating the art of lobster cuisine. The event drew an enthusiastic sold-out crowd to Boothbay Harbor, where local chefs competed fiercely for top honors.

The Lincoln Home is hosting a lawn party to celebrate the fourth of July from 4:30 - 8:30pm, with premium fireworks viewing at dusk. Kristina Campbell, a commercial lines producer at Allen Insurance and Financial, has completed the Workers Compensation Professional certification through the American Society of Workers’ Compensation Professionals.

The WCP® certification provides a strong educational foundation in the various aspects of the workers compensation industry. Campbell completed the program in a nine-week virtual program offered through the University of Southern Maine.

Our freezer is fully stocked with so many yummy chef prepared take & bake dinners! We have lobster mac & cheese, creamy chicken orzo bake with spinach & tomato,  haddock chowder, New England clam chowder, chicken orzo soup, lasagna, and turkey pot pies!!!

Our bartender, John Carroll had a horrible loss of his whole camper on the way to Maine for the season.
