Here we go again!! The plan at the moment will be wait until the last minute to decide to open. The plywood is ordered and the sandbags are at the ready!! We can’t thank everyone enough for the all hands turnout Wednesday to get Brady’s cleaned out and ready to open yesterday... Now we see if it happens again! 

A welcoming and familiar face at Cheney Insurance since 1993, Debbie Furman recently celebrated the culmination of her 30-year career at Cheney Insurance, a locally owned independent agency.  With a background as a salon owner and then working for her husband’s land surveying business, Debbie joined the team at Cheney three decades ago, despite having no prior experience in the insurance industry; a decision that blossomed into a long and rewarding partnership between employer and employee.

The YMCA is partnering with Veteran Affairs to provide free memberships for those who have served. To be eligible, a Maine Veteran must receive a referral from his/her Togus primary care physician.

Keeping Naloxone (Narcan nasal spray) on hand can help save a life. Having a kit nearby could help a friend, family member, or someone in the community in the event of an emergency. This Narcan administration training will guide you through how to use Narcan, as well as helpful information on opioids and how Narcan interacts with these substances.

It’s all you can eat Haddock Friday at Brady’s starting at 11:30 and serving until 8pm.  We are accepting reservations for parties of 6 or more and as always we have call ahead seating. Saturday is Pot Roast and Sunday’s are now Prime Rib Sunday’s!  We realized men throwing darts and watching football didn’t want chicken. You learn as you go!!

We love opening the doors to our Community to Celebrate the Season. Join our Lincoln Home family Sunday afternoon, December 10, from 3-5pm for mouth watering snacks and sweets, live music on every floor and holiday cheer. Over the last year, we have been busy with updates and renovations to our home. We have instituted a creative plan that includes new apartments and gathering spaces for residents and friends. Come take a look!.

Reagan Cola has left the building. She left us for a real, permanent job in another part of the country. She has yet to give back her keys to the shop, though. We're pretty sure so it's she can have keg parties when she's back for court appearances.

I make enough stupid mistakes in this bent little life I'm living without having to heap on the stupid mistakes of stupider people than me. Right? Isn't that in the Constitution? The New Deal? The Taxpayer Bill of Rights? The Teapot Dome Scandal? Seward's Folly? What about The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution? It's somewhere in there. You can trust me on that. I've read them all start to finish.
