The Lincoln County Recovery Community Center at 3 Hall St., Newcastle, will be hosting a 5k+ road race and kids’ fun run on Saturday, Aug. 22 at our location. All funds raised by the event will go to anyone in the state in need of treatment for substance abuse disorder.

Search for "Go the Extra Mile" 5k race on Facebook for our event page and information on how to sign up. Sign in will begin at 8 a.m. on the 22nd with an award ceremony and barbecue to follow.
