Timber R. Brown
Timber Ray Brown, 58, of Boothbay, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center on Aug. 12, 2026, following a heart attack.

Timber proudly served as a captain of the Boothbay Fire Department for more than 30 years. Timber was a Board of Director Member of the Boothbay Region Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed working on his property, riding motorcycles, hunting and shooting, and spending time with family and friends at lobster bakes, cookouts, and Halloween parties. He was well known for his helpful nature and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone who needed it.
Timber is survived by his loving partner of 17 years, Michelle Bryer, and his beloved dog, Adele.
He will be greatly missed by Michelle’s son, Michael Ciarfella, his wife, Marissa, and their daughter, Vanessa; his cousin, Amanda Taylor, and her partner, Bill, of Sandwich, New Hampshire; Sharon Verbanis-Smith and her husband, Mike, of Bonita Springs, Florida; as well as his large circle of friends and the many people whose lives he touched.
A celebration of Timber’s life will be held at the Boothbay American Legion, 25 Industrial Park Road, Boothbay, on Oct. 17 from 1 to 4 p.m., with a Masonic service beginning at 3:30.
