Tony C. McKim, president and chief executive officer of First National Bank and its parent company, The First Bancorp, has announced the appointment of Adam Climo as branch manager based in Boothbay Harbor.  

A Maine native, Adam graduated from Boothbay Region High School and New England College and previously worked for another financial institution. Outside of the bank, Adam currently serves as a volunteer fireman on the Southport Fire Department and is a member of the Southport Island Association. Adam and his family reside on Southport Island.  

“The opportunity that I’ve been given, not only the position with First National Bank but the chance to be connected and involved with this community, is something I’m incredibly grateful for. I know I have some large shoes to fill as Brenda (Blackman) retires following her 40+ years, but please know I’m looking forward to earning your trust while we all get to know each other.
