Alice Paul and women’s suffrage at Lincoln Home July 16

Jerry Wiles, local historian, will share the life of American suffragist Alice Paul at the Lincoln Home. Paul co-founded the Congressional Union and then formed the National Woman’s Party in 1916. She continued to provide inspiration to new generations of women’s rights activists until her death in 1977. Wiles’ presentation is on Monday, July 16, from 2 to 3 p.m. The event is free.
