Chris Cooper, Ralph Hilton and contractor and fellow Alna resident Jon Bardo were on the lawn of the former Alna town office on Route 218 Tuesday afternoon for the take-down of the flagpole. Plans called for the pole to rise again at the new town office next door, according to Cooper.
The town office sign was being moved there also, he said.
