Calling all car buffs! If you have an antique or classic car, you are invited to display it at the Damariscotta Mills Fish Ladder Restoration Festival car show Memorial Day weekend. The car show runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 25 (rain date May 26). All antique and classic cars are welcome to compete for three People’s Choice Awards. There is no entry fee.

While at the show, take time to enjoy the great food and entertainment to celebrate the ongoing restoration of the historic fish ladder. From 85,000 fish climbing the ladder successfully in 2007, the redesigned ladder enabled over 900,000 fish to make it into Damariscotta Lake last year. Be sure also to tour the fish ladder to see this amazing annual fish migration.
