Don’t know much about the Bible and wish you did? Then this class is for you!

It is an introduction designed for people who are unfamiliar with the Bible as the Word of God. The class will be a journey through the Bible, Book by Book. Historical background, authorship, main theological points, and relevance of the text for today will be covered.

The goal is to develop an appreciation for the message that is contained in each book. It will be a discussion-oriented class in which members can participate to the extent they want.

Better yet, there is no homework, and each class is independent, so there is no problem missing some classes.

Class begins Sunday, Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Congregational Church. David Eastwood promises to get you home in plenty of time for the Super Bowl.
