Among wreath entries from Big Al’s, BIRCH, Burgess Technology Services, Carl Larrabee Insurance Agency, Casey’s Wood Products, Cromwell Coastal Properties, Morris Farm Trust, Sarah’s Café, Sheepscot Bay Physical Therapy, and Wiscasset Green, BIRCH's emerged as the People's Choice award winner at Wiscasset Holiday Marketfest, according to an email to participants.

Lucia Droby reported, every wreath in "Wreath around the holidays" got votes and BIRCH's got the most. "Congratulations, you thoughtful and creative people – all of you," Droby told participants.

"The wreaths are now on their way to local families through the Wiscasset Family Wishes program." A recent press release explained, a $100 gift, courtesy of Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce will accompany the People’s Choice wreath.

Participants' wreaths also contained some gifts among the decorations, including Maine Marine Museum tickets in Sarah's Cafe's wreath. "And this one I don't know what it is. Santa didn't say," Sarah's Susan Robson said pointing to one gift on the wreath Saturday in the Nickels-Sortwell House barn where the wreaths were on display and up for vote.
