Bremen Dems to hold meeting Jan. 25 with candidates
The Bremen Democratic Committee will meet on Sunday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m., at the Live from Love Center, 145 Waldoboro Road, Bremen.
All are welcome to attend to hear remarks from and meet some of our candidates for local office. Confirmed attendees include Lincoln County Sheriff Todd Brackett of Nobleboro and District Attorney Natasha Irving of Rockland for Prosecutorial District Six (Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc and Waldo Counties), who are both seeking re-election. We will also introduce District Attorney candidate Barbara Cray of Westport Island and Lincoln County Commissioner candidate Walter Voskian of Bremen for District Two (Bremen, Bristol, Damariscotta, Edgecomb, Newcastle and Nobleboro).
In addition to candidate remarks, the committee will conduct a brief business meeting to elect officers and approve bylaws for the next two years. Bremen Democratic Committee Chair Deb Elliott reflected on her tenure, saying:
“As I mark my final meeting as chair of the Bremen Democrats, I’m deeply thankful for the opportunity to have led this committee since 2024. I’m proud of the work we’ve done together and look forward to supporting the new leadership as they build on our momentum and continue turning out support for Democratic candidates and causes.”
