Wiscasset Planning Board Chair Karl Olson said Monday night via email, two members of the public were present for that night’s hearings on the proposed Adult Use Cannabis Business Ordinance, Medical Cannabis Licensing Ordinance and Regulations, Licenses and Permits.

“Neither (attendee) spoke for or against any of the proposed ordinances,” Olson said. The board had no other business, he said. The meeting at the town office was scheduled to be carried over Zoom, but due to technical issues, Olson moved forward with an in-person meeting only, Emily Rabbe of Lincoln County Regional Planning Commission explained via email. 

The night’s ordinance review committee meeting was canceled for lack of a quorum, ORC members said.
