Nobody was in a Jeep when it became submerged in Wiscasset harbor Sept. 16, Wiscasset Police Department Administrative Assistant Stephany Blodgett said. And no one was hurt, Blodgett said in an email response to Wiscasset Newspaper Sept. 16.

“Officer (Jonathan) Barnes wrote in the call log that the owners were unloading a boat from the trailer when the brake on the Jeep let loose and the Jeep, trailer and boat all rolled into the water. Blagden’s (Wrecker Service) retrieved the vehicle from the water,” Blodgett wrote.
