George W. Cochrane III, 88, died peacefully on January 9, 2016, with his loving family by his side. He was born on August 24, 1927, to the late George W. Cochrane Jr. of Melrose, Massachusetts, and Doris (Garnett) Cochrane of Eastport, Maine.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Boothbay Harbor Congregational Church at noon on Saturday, June 4, 2016 with a reception to follow at Hodgdon Yacht Service, 100 Ebenecook Road, Southport.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in George’s name to the St. Andrews Village, 145 Emery Lane, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04537.
