Charges were dismissed against five of the seven alleged customers of Angel McCracken, 27, of Damariscotta. Although McCracken was initially taken into custody, she was never charged with a crime. Even so, two of her alleged customers pleaded no contest and received $350 fines.

The remaining charges were dismissed in September, and the files were sealed. Because the files were sealed, it is unknown why the charges were dismissed.

The charges of Engaging a Prostitute were Class E misdemeanors.
