Two hundred and seventy-four children are now enrolled at School of Hope in Lamarre, Haiti. The school was begun by Hope Haitian Ministries, centered in Boothbay. Each month, they send down $2,200 to help with food and schooling for the children.

This year, as in previous years, the non-profit is offering Christmas trees donated by a friend of the ministry. The suggested price is $35 for these quality trees of many sizes. They can be purchased at 18 Country Club Lane in Boothbay, across from the golf course.
