Clamshell Quilters will be meeting on Monday, Nov. 11 at Faith Baptist Church, Mills Road, Newcastle. Our sew and chat session will begin at 2 p.m. Join us as we work on community service projects or one of our own.

At 5:30, Southport resident and artist Barbara Lally will talk about her quilting journey, mastering many art mediums: silk screen printing, embroidery and fabric appliqué, shibori, etc.

We will end the evening with a Christmas quilt show ’n tell.

Since we may be meeting into the early evening, you may wish to bring a brown bag and beverage.
