Wiscasset is making it more convenient for residents to find out what selectmen are talking about at their board meetings. Starting with the board's May 6 meeting, the town office will email the agenda and related materials to anyone who signs up, Administrative Assistant Julie Lutkus said.

The items have already been available ahead of meetings, on the town's website, at www.wiscasset.org. Under “Boards & Committees,” go to “Board of Selectmen,” then “agendas." The supporting documents are also in the “agendas” section.

The agenda and the other materials will continue to be posted on the site, Lutkus said April 14. To get the information by email, contact Lutkus at 207-882-8200, extension 103; email her at admin@wiscasset.org; or sign up at the town clerk's office.

“It's another way to get the information out there, and give people another avenue to stay informed,” Lutkus said.
