He was born and raised in Taunton, Massachusetts and had also previously lived in Wareham, Massachusetts before moving to Maine with his family in 2001.
Dave was known as a friendly face, a helping hand, and a keen mind. He is remembered by his wife, Deborah Boucher; dogs, Tessa and Kitty; children, Mitchell Boucher and Mandy Cork (née Boucher), son-in-law John Cork, and granddaughter Ruby Cork; Karen Edgecombe (née Brown) and James Brown, who he always called his bonus kids, as well as Joshua, Terrence, and Violet Edgecombe; his sisters, Karin Donahue-Smith and Deborah Brazil; and nephews, David Boucher - and his wife Kristina and their daughter Adeline - and Daniel Corey - and his wife Rachael and their children Cecelia and Jonah.
Dave will be deeply missed by his family, friends and community.
A memorial will be held at the Edgecomb Town Hall at 16 Town Hall Road, Edgecomb on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. This will be followed by a reception downstairs at the Town Hall. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, attendees bring a potluck dish to share with fellow mourners during the reception. Dave loved a potluck.
