Democrats plan pasta supper fundraiser November 16
Wasting no time gearing up for 2014 election-year challenges, Lincoln County Democrats will host a pasta and meatball supper fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 16, 5-7 p.m., at the Mobius center, across the street from Yellowfront grocery in Damariscotta.
Ellie Paoletti Taylor, known in Italian cuisine-loving circles for her authentic meatballs, will again be working her magic in the kitchen.
Loyal LC Democrats supporters have been enjoying these Ellie-crafted suppers for a number of years and know what a treat they are. The menu, in addition to pasta and meatballs, will include: veggie balls, salad, Borealis Bakery bread, dessert (pumpkin & chocolate delights), punch and coffee.
Admission: Adults $10, children 5-12 years $5, under 5 years free, family of four $25. Join the Host Committee, to help ensure the success of the event. Hosts are being asked to contribute $50, but any amount will be happily accepted.
Attendees will have a chance to pitch in on the traditional 50-50 raffle.
Proceeds of the event will go towards the cost of renting a campaign center in 2014 and mounting energetic election-year efforts on behalf of all Democratic candidates running for Maine State Legislature seats from Lincoln County, for county offices, for the District 1 U.S. Congressional seat, for the U.S. Senate, and for Maine State Governor.
