The Dinner Table PAC presents to Lincoln County Republicans
Rep. Laurel Libby, R-Auburn, and Alex Titcomb, co-founders of The Dinner Table PAC, gave a presentation at the Lincoln County Republican meeting in Wiscasset on Wednesday, July 27. Alex Titcomb is the State Committee Man for Sagadahoc County. Rep. Libby is serving her first term as a member of the Maine House of Representatives.
As an introduction to the presentation, a question was asked of the audience about why we voters should be concerned with which candidates win in our local elections. Some answers put forward were that those elected: should support the foundation of our Constitution; foster America first; be concerned to save our children; provide needed common sense; and foster integrity in our government.
The name The Dinner Table is taken from a quote from Ronald Reagan: “All great change in America begins at the dinner table.” The Dinner Table PAC is a member-based, grassroots political action committee dedicated to advancing limited government, free enterprise, personal responsibility, and individual liberty. This action-oriented organization has a goal to grow community and engage Maine people in this proactive movement.
Rep. Libby and Alex Titcomb encouraged all to volunteer for candidates, write letters, and identify the local issues in which people are interested. This PAC can provide the structure for getting involved. More information can be found at www.TheDinnerTablePac.com about this organization, and how to get involved. Our future as free people depends on our actions and our success.
