Casco Bay Dog Training Club is hosting run-throughs on March 8 at Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta on Business Route 1. Run-throughs are a simulated competition complete with mats, ring gates, and judging in order for dogs and handlers to practice AKC Competition Obedience and Rally O prior to trials.

Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $10, $5 for the second run of same dog. Judging will start with the Utility class at 9 a.m. in ring 1 with Open and Novice Obedience Classes to follow. Rally Excellent classes will start at 9 a.m. in ring 2 with Advanced and Novice classes to follow. In case of bad weather, call 207-350-6126 for cancellations.

Casco Bay Dog Training Club is a nonprofit organization founded in 1968 and dedicated to the training of all breeds of dogs. Club members compete with their dogs in obedience, agility, tracking, herding or enjoy therapy dog work, visits to hospitals and schools, and demonstrations at special events.
