St. Patrick Church in Newcastle is assisting the town’s ecumenical food pantry in providing Thanksgiving baskets for over 230 families in Lincoln County. Organizers are in need of canned vegetables, cranberry sauce/jelly, stuffing mix, and canned pumpkin. Monetary donations to purchase items are also encouraged.

Those interested in helping the cause can drop off their donations before and after Masses at St. Patrick on Nov. 19-20 or at the church office, located on 380 Academy Hill Road in Newcastle, any time from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
