Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: 3 arrests
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 225 calls for service for the period of April 29 and May 6. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 4,596 calls for service.
Summonses
Stanley Brewer, 44, of Bremen was issued summonses May 3 for Driving to Endanger and Leaving Scene of Motor Vehicle Accident, on Bristol Mews Road, Bristol, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.
Arrests
Devan L. Anderson, 37, of Bremen was arrested April 21 on a Damariscotta Police Department warrant for Failure to Appear on an Operating after Suspension charge, on Biscay Road, Bremen, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison. Mr. Anderson was also issued a Uniform Summons and Complaint for Harvesting Shellfish without a Town License.
Daniel M. Britt, 45, of Boothbay was arrested May 1 for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault; Terrorizing and Possession of a Firearm by Prohibited Person, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Tabatha Quirron, 37, of Whitefield was arrested May 4 for Violating Condition of Release and Unlawful Possession of Scheduled Drug, on Vigue Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On April 29, an accident occurred on Main Street in Newcastle involving Daniel Wentworth, 67, of Nobleboro and Robert R. Desrosiers, 37, of Damariscotta. Mr. Wentworth was attempting to go from Main Street to Mills Road, going across the southbound lane, in his 2012 Honda CRV. He appears to stop and then begins to go again before he applied his brakes and stopped. As Wentworth is doing this, Mr. Desrosiers, who was operating his 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Main Street, saw Wentworth starting to move and he dumped his motorcycle on its left side, as he thought there was going to be a collision. Wentworth did admit to not seeing the motorcycle traveling southbound. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
On April 30, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Benjamin N. Hillicoss, 29, of Chebeague Island. Mr. Hillicoss was operating his 2023 Triumph motorcycle westbound when he failed to negotiate a turn, crossed the center line, entered the eastbound ditch and struck a mailbox. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On May 1, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving George L. Benner, 65, of Bristol. Mr. Benner was operating his 2017 Toyota Tacoma northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and was struck, causing front end damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On May 1, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Caleb B. Richardson, 31, of Westport Island. Mr. Richardson was operating his 2017 Chevrolet Silverado northbound when a deer ran out in front of him and was struck, causing front end damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On May 2, an accident occurred on Vigue Road in Whitefield involving Kaylee R. Treadwell, 37, of South China. Ms. Treadwell was operating her 2016 Toyota Camry southbound when a deer ran out in front of her and was struck, causing front end damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
On May 3, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Peter A. Beauboeuf, 52, of Brunswick. Mr. Beauboeuf was operating his 2023 Nissan Titan northbound when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle from left to right and was struck, causing driver’s side front end damage. Sgt. Scott Hayden was the investigating officer.
